Nestled among 35 acres of rolling farmland, the Arboretum and Ornamental Gardens at the Experimental Farm are an urban oasis waiting to be discovered. Featuring over 2,000 varieties of trees and shrubs, and a unique selection of new and historic flowers, this magnificent collection began to take shape more than 125 years ago. Stroll the grounds, take in the panoramic views of the city, and enjoy the masses of colour displayed in the rose garden, annual and perennial collections, rock garden, Macoun sunken garden, and hedge collection.
